Spandan, a portable ECG device, was curated to tackle this problem. Recording around 10 Lakh heartbeats and employed by 500+ doctors, Spandan has opened new doorways towards preventive healthcare.

Symptoms Being Correctly Diagnosed As Cardiac Problems
While 90% of users noted an increase in the diagnosis of cardiac problems, 10% of users or decrement which involved mostly those who have used spandan for less than a year.
Proportion Of Patients Seeking Early Action For Cardiac Problem​
87% of users noted an increase in the proportion of patients seeking early action for cardiac problems post the introduction of spandan possibly due to early and increased detection.
Referrals For Specialist Treatment For Cardiac Problems​
82% of users noted an increase in the proportion of patients being referred for specialist treatment for cardiac problems, a majority (66%) of them being from tier 2 and 3 cities.
Change In Awareness Regarding Cardiac Attacks​
51% stated that there was an increase in awareness regarding attacks (36%) stated no change. Majority of the feedback were from tier 3 settlements where health awareness is limited.

Before purchasing Spandan, 65% of users stated that they would refer patients to external diagnostic centers for ECG, most of which comprised of Tier 2 and 3 cities where availability of the required equipment was low. 27% of users previously relied on traditional ECG machines.
Average Deployment Rate Of Spandan
On average, Spandan’s users had used the device for around 4.8 months. While the longest user had used the device for 18 months and the shortest user had used it for just 1 month.
Frequency Of Spandan ECG Being Used On A Weekly Basis
On average, Spandan’s users used the device nearly 4 times a week. A majority of users (51%) used the device 2-3 times a week, indicating that they find the product relevant and that Spandan ECG is targeting a suitable customer base
