The accessory Pathway is an additional connection between the upper and lower chamber of the heart. This problem leads to having issues of palpitation or abnormal heart rhythms as the signal from the upper chamber flows too fast as usual to the lower chamber. Accessory pathways do not require treatment but if present with other problems it should be treated fast. Doctors may prescribe medication depending on the seriousness of the problem.
