Lead Placements in Spandan ECG Device

Spandan is portable ECG device with re-placable electrode leads. Developed by Sunfox Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Spandan is amongst the most affordable ECGs available devices in the world. Spandan ECG device works with Smartphone after installation of Spandan Application available on your play store. With this guide to use Spandan, you will be able to take ECG easily and reliably. The ECG (Electrocardiogram) detects the electrical behavior of the heart. The patterns attained by arranging the electrodes i.e. Green, yellow and Red respectively, gives a definite pattern. These patterns are studied by the doctors for further diagnosis. But with Spandan application a basic educated person can read his/her heart health. With different arrangements in three wires in leads provided with Spandan ECG device, you can perform ECG. The Electrocardiogram have following arrangement of leads:-

V1

  1. Place yellow wire to your left arm.
  2. Red electrode to your right arm and
  3. Green electrode on the chest position as shown

V1 lead position

Perform this test with disposal ECG pad electrodes attached to it. The figure shows the position of V1 to be taken from.

V2

  1. Place the wire of colour yellow to your left arm and
  2. Red electrode to the right arm.
  3. Change the position of the green electrode as shown

  1. Both yellow and red electrode is placed at same point.
  2. Change the green electrode of lead to position shown in the figure.

  1. The red and yellow electrodes will be paced at same point as before and
  2. The green electrode will be paced at the position shown

  1. Place the electrodes of corresponding colour codes at the place shown.
  2. Red and yellow at right and left arm respectively.
  3. Place green electrode at the place shown in figure.

  1. Place the electrodes as shown in the figure
  2. Red and yellow at right and left arm respectively.
  3. Place green electrode at the place shown in figure.
