What We Did
A 30-year-old man under Dr. C.B. Pandey and LLRM Meerut's cardiology team care was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia (VT). Treatment with amiodarone restored normal sinus rhythm (NSR), but further tests, including a 2D-ECHO, revealed cardiac sarcoidosis, confirmed by elevated ACE levels.
Despite optimal care, the patient experienced recurrent VT episodes. He began using Spandan® ECG for continuous monitoring, which consistently detected VT episodes. One ECG report in particular showed Wide QRS indicative of VT (LBBB Type), displaying a monomorphic pattern.
Based on the Spandan® ECG data, the patient had an Automatic Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator (AICD) implanted for ongoing cardiac management by the LLRM Meerut cardiology team led by Dr. C.B.Pandey.
